Benefits of Massage Therapy

Let’s face it, therapeutic massage is relaxing, and with the hectic lives we lead, that would be enough to warrant the pampering.  However, there are numerous clinically proven benefits derived from massage therapy, including strengthening of the immune system, improving mood and contributing to a better overall quality of life by:

  • Relieving physical and mental stress by decreasing muscle tension in the back, shoulder, and neck muscles
  • Improving sleep quality by relieving stress and aiding in relaxation
  • Nurturing a general sense of well being by increasing body awareness and improving posture through massage
  • Delivering psychological benefits through the reduction of anxiety, depression and stress while enhancing mental clarity and alertness.

Remember, you don’t have to be undergoing chiropractic treatment to receive therapeutic massage and the benefits are immediate.
